Why continue suffering from bicipital tendonitis?
We have a treatment plan for patients in Chesterton.
At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.
Understanding bicipital tendonitis
Bicipital Tendonitis is the inflammation of the long head of the biceps tendon as it passes through the groove in the front of your shoulder. It frequently occurs alongside rotator cuff problems from repetitive overhead activities, lifting, or poor posture.
Our patients in Chesterton often describe a deep ache directly in the front of the shoulder, especially when reaching forward or lifting. Traditional rest and ice often fall short; we use Limfa® Therapy to directly target to deep tendon inflammation, paired with strengthening to correct the biomechanical faults causing the excess friction.
Front Shoulder Pain
A throbbing ache in the front of the shoulder that worsens with overhead lifting, reaching across the body, or carrying heavy objects.
Weakness in the Arm
A feeling of weakness when twisting the forearm or bending the elbow against resistance.
Radiating Ache
The pain may occasionally radiate down the front of the upper arm muscle (the bicep).
