Why continue suffering from cervicogenic headaches?
We have a treatment plan for patients in Munster.
At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.
Understanding cervicogenic headaches
Unlike typical headaches, Cervicogenic Headaches originate from issues in the neck (cervical spine) rather than the head itself. Problems with the joints, muscles, or nerves in your neck radiate pain upward into the skull.
Often misdiagnosed as tension headaches or migraines, these require a specific approach. For our Munster patients, we focus on identifying and treating the precise location of cervical dysfunction—often restricted joints or taut muscle bands—to stop the pain at its source.
Neck-Origin Pain
Pain typically begins in the back of the head and upper neck, radiating forward toward the forehead or around one eye.
Unilateral Symptoms
The headache is usually felt on one side of the head or face, often corresponding to the side of neck dysfunction.
Reduced ROM
Noticeable stiffness and reduced range of motion in the neck; neck movements or awkward postures can trigger or worsen the headache.
