Why continue suffering from a hip labral tear?
We have a treatment plan for patients in Garfield Ridge.
At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.
Understanding a hip labral tear
A Hip Labral Tear involves damage to the ring of cartilage that follows the outside rim of your hip joint socket, acting like a rubber seal to hold the ball at the top of your thighbone securely in place.
Instead of immediately opting for invasive surgery, many Garfield Ridge patients find success with our conservative protocol. We utilize Limfa® Therapy to quiet the inflammation within the deep hip joint, and heavily focus on stabilizing the core and the deep hip rotators to better handle daily loading forces and compensate for the torn cartilage.
Deep Groin Pain
A dull or sharp pain felt deep within the groin or the front of the hip, which can occasionally extend to your buttocks.
Clicking or Catching
A distinct locking, clicking, or catching sensation directly in your hip joint during movements like squatting.
Stiffness and Limited Range
Noticeable stiffness spanning the hip region after periods of rest, inhibiting the ability to comfortably rotate the hip.
