Why continue suffering from it band syndrome?
We have a treatment plan for patients in Logan Square.

At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.

Understanding IT Band Syndrome

Iliotibial (IT) Band Syndrome is a frequent and frustrating overuse injury where the long connective tissue running down the outside of your thigh becomes abnormally tight and rubs painfully against the outside of your knee joint.

Often halting the progress of Logan Square runners and cyclists, IT band friction requires more than just a foam roller. We use deeply penetrating Limfa® Therapy to instantly relieve the acute local friction and inflammation at the side of the knee. Then, our strength protocols rebuild lateral hip and core stability so your leg avoids structurally collapsing inward on every stride.

Sharp Outer Knee Pain

A stinging or sharp ache primarily located on the outside (lateral) part of the knee that usually gets worse with repetitive motion.

Pain Escalation During Running

Pain that is mild or nonexistent at the start of a run, but becomes progressively unbearable as the workout continues.

Snapping or Rubbing Sensation

A distinct, tight feeling of the tissue snapping or painfully rubbing across the outside of the knee joint as it bends and straightens.
