Why continue suffering from MTSS?
We have a treatment plan for patients in Rogers Park.

At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.

Understanding Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome

Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome (MTSS), closely related to shin splints, involves chronic periostitis where repetitive mechanical stress pulls the muscle away from its bony attachment along the lower inside edge of the shinbone.

If left untreated, Rogers Park patients often find MTSS can progress into a serious tibial stress fracture. Regeon Bone and Body Institute utilizes advanced Limfa® Therapy parameters specifically designed for osteogenesis (bone repair) to deeply heal the inflamed bone surface, alongside precise lower leg and foot strength conditioning to disperse shock optimally and prevent the muscle from constantly tugging on the bone.

Inner Shin Pain

A sharp or deep aching pain specifically running down the lower inner two-thirds of the shinbone.

Pain Throughout Exercise

Unlike minor shin splints, this pain persists aggressively throughout the entire exercise bout, rather than fading once warmed up.

Post-Exercise Throbbing

A dull, persistent throbbing sensation extending along the bone that lingers for hours or days following a workout.
