Why continue suffering from a rotator cuff tear?
We have a treatment plan for patients in River Forest.

At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.

Understanding a rotator cuff tear

The rotator cuff is a group of four small muscles and tendons that stabilize your shoulder joint. A tear occurs when one or more of these tendons is partially or completely torn, either from an acute injury or chronic wear and tear.

For many River Forest residents, a rotator cuff tear means sleepless nights and difficulty with simple tasks. While full-thickness tears sometimes require surgery, many partial tears and post-surgical rehabilitations find profound success by aggressively managing inflammation with Limfa® Therapy and building compensatory strength.

Profound Weakness

A noticeable loss of strength when trying to lift the arm out to the side or overhead, sometimes making lifting the arm impossible.

Night Pain

Deep, aching shoulder pain that often worsens at night, especially when lying on the affected side.

Popping Sensations

A sensation of cracking, popping, or grinding (crepitus) deep inside the shoulder joint with certain movements.
