Why continue suffering from spinal stenosis?
We have a treatment plan for patients in Near South Side.
At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.
Understanding spinal stenosis
Spinal Stenosis is a narrowing of the spaces within your spine, which can put pressure on the nerves that travel through it. This commonly occurs in the lower back (lumbar) and the neck (cervical), leading to pain, tingling, or numbness.
For many Near South Side residents, symptoms worsen with standing or walking and improve when sitting or leaning forward ("shopping cart sign"). While often related to age-related wear and tear, our non-invasive therapies can help manage inflammation and improve spinal stability without surgery.
Neurogenic Claudication
A hallmark of lumbar stenosis is cramping or pain in the legs when walking or standing for long periods, which resolves rapidly upon sitting down.
Numbness & Weakness
Compression of the spinal cord or nerves can lead to numbness, tingling, or weakness in the hands, arms, feet, or legs, affecting balance and coordination.
Positional Relief
Patients often find relief by leaning forward (flexion), which temporarily opens up the spinal canal and decompresses the nerves.
