Why continue suffering from trigger finger?
We have a treatment plan for patients in Waukegan.

At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.

Understanding trigger finger

Trigger Finger (Stenosing Tenosynovitis) is a frustrating condition that causes one of your fingers or thumb to get stuck in a bent position. This happens when the protective sheath around the finger's tendon becomes inflamed, preventing the tendon from gliding smoothly.

For Waukegan residents, the locking feeling and subsequent "pop" as the tendon catches can be deeply painful and annoying. Rather than jumping straight to steroid injections, we use Limfa® Therapy to deeply penetrate and effectively neutralize swelling in the inflamed sheath. Once the tendon glides smoothly again, our rehab ensures lasting hand mechanics to avoid reinjury.

Locking or Catching

A distinct locking or catching sensation when you try to bend or straighten the affected finger.

Base Knuckle Pain

Tenderness or a small bump (nodule) located in the palm at the base of the affected finger.

Morning Stiffness

Stiffness and locking that is frequently much worse in the morning before the hand has warmed up.
