Why continue suffering from trochanteric bursitis?
We have a treatment plan for patients in Park Ridge.

At Regeon Bone and Body Institute, we combine Limfa® Therapy, physical therapy, and targeted strength training to address the root cause of your pain and restore lasting mobility.

Understanding Trochanteric Bursitis

Trochanteric Bursitis is the most common form of hip bursitis, marked by inflammation over the greater trochanter—the bony bump on the outer side of the upper thigh. It creates a debilitating ache across the side of the hip.

Because walking and simple daily movements constantly rub against this area, Park Ridge patients often struggle with chronic flare-ups. Our treatment calms the inflamed tissue using targeted LIMFA electromagnetic frequencies and rebuilds surrounding gluteal support to prevent painful rubbing.

Side Hip Tenderness

A sharp ache on the very outside point of the hip that is tender when pressed, eventually radiating into the high buttocks or thigh.

Pain with Walking or Stairs

Noticeably worse pain when repeatedly flexing the hip, such as ascending staircases, hiking, or walking briskly.

Sleep Disruption

Extreme discomfort when laying at night directly on the affected hip, often disrupting sleep until the patient rolls over.
